If you can have one power, what would it be?

 

Hi folks or do I need to say hi footers! Welcome back to my blog. Seriously though, it's kind of hard to take a minute break from what I’ve been doing at home to start writing yet here we are now already. I managed to get off of my disney plus screen finally. 

So, let’s get back to the main topic, shall we? This question has stuck with me for the past 2 or 3 days, it is the kind of question I’ve seen a lot online in some youtube interviews. The question is pretty classic, it’s basically talking about what kind of power you want to have if you can choose one. Maybe some of you footers right here thinking about powers like the avengers, X-men, or any kind of many superheroes characters have, am I right? A power to fly, speed, frozen something, claws, telekinesis, opening portal, turn back in time, many more. I’ve thought of that too to be fair not going to lie because I’m a big marvel fan myself so that’s unavoidable but there’s a but here. As long as it sticks out in my head I’m trying to be much more mature with my answer. Having all of the superpowers I mentioned earlier must’ve been fun of course, all of it has its flaws and surplus. 

Now if you’re asking me that question again I will answer differently.

If you can have one power, what’s that going to be?

If I can have any power, I will choose honesty. Honesty here is not merely talking about myself, as I imagined this power can make me tell if a person is lying or not. Whether I can tell it by the eyes, expressions, their heartbeat, lips movement, etc. It is going to be much more useful these days. A lot of people around us can’t be trusted even the closest one. It makes me sad how the world indeed evolved but not in the right direction or path in terms of honesty and integrity. Not just can tell when people are lying but also invest a seed of honesty in their heart so that they can’t lie anymore. Isn’t it beautiful how the world is going to change when all the people are honest, not just to anyone else but to ourselves too. That’s the power I really want to have, I want to make my existence in this world beneficial. I want to make the world I really care about better than before. I know myself still weaving on my own honesty, trying hard to not lie to anyone especially myself. So sorry guys if I’m raving too much about this, I just need this to get out of my head. I desperately just want the world to know that we can be better. Let’s start it off with saying the truth anywhere you are in school, college, office, neighborhood, family. Spread love, compliment people, put a smile on your face, and say hi to people around you. You will feel much more respected every now and then trust me. If you want to be respected, respect others first and if you don’t want to be lied to then don’t lie to others. Sooner or later in case I really get this power, I’ll definitely come and get you! Lmao

To reiterate, let me remind you to always tell the truth in any situation in your life. Truth indeed hurts sometimes yet trust me you will overcome it later. Since I don’t have that power right now, I’m using this blog as my power to change people for the better, to entertain, and make a bigger impact on this world. That’s my first intention to form this blog in the first place. The last thing I can say now is “your action defines who you are” so think about it wisely.
